DR. AHMAD HAMDAN
JORDAN
- Dr. Ahmad Hamdan graduated from the University of Jordan with a bachelor’s in dental surgery (BDS) in 2002.
- He is a Master’s degree holder in Osteoarticular biology, Biomaterials & Biofunctionality and a Master’s degree in Periodontology from the University Denis Diderot – Paris 7. At the same university, he completed his Ph.D. and followed specialized training in periodontology and implant dentistry.
- In 2010, he passed the Jordanian Medical Council exam in periodontology (Jordanian Board).
- He is interested in the different aspects of periodontal therapy, especially guided tissue regeneration and periodontal plastic surgery. I am also interested in the biology of wound healing and bone regeneration.
- He is the former Secretary General of the Jordanian Dental Association, and the Assistant Dean for Development and Quality Assurance Affairs in the School of Dentistry – University of Jordan.
- He is an Associate Professor in the School of Dentistry at the University of Jordan. He is also a Consultant Periodontist and the Vice-Dean for Hospital and Quality Assurance Affairs at the Jordan University Hospital. In addition, he is a visiting Consultant Periodontist in a private clinic in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
