Lecture Abstract:
Long-term preservation of natural teeth and dental implants requires structured supportive periodontal and peri-implant therapy based on risk assessment, early diagnosis, and patient compliance. This lecture presents practical and evidence-based strategies to optimize supportive care, including individualized maintenance intervals, biofilm control protocols, management of peri-implant mucositis, and early intervention strategies to prevent peri-implantitis. Through clinical cases and video documentation, attendees will gain practical insights into how to integrate maintenance protocols into daily clinical practice.
