- Prof. Momen Atieh obtained his degree in Dental Surgery from the University of Jordan, Amman, Jordan.
- He has a Master’s Degree in Oral Surgery from the University of Manchester, UK.
- By 2010, he passed the New Zealand Dental Registration Examination.
- Prof. Atieh completed his Ph.D. in Philosophy and Periodontology at the University of Otago, Dunedin, New Zealand.
- Prof. Momen Atieh is currently holding the positions of:
- Chair and Professor in Periodontology at MBRU in Dubai, UAE.
- Honorary Associate Professor at the University of Otago, New Zealand.
- Honorary Professor at the University of Jordan.
- A fellow of the International Team for Implantology (ITI)
- A member of the ITI research committee
- A board member of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons
- A member of the editorial boards of the Journal of Periodontology and Journal of Periodontal Research.
- Prof. Momen is the author of over 75 papers. He is teaming up with the Cochrane Oral Health Group as a lead author and is currently leading multiple clinical trials including a multi-center clinical trial on the use of narrow-diameter dental implants.
